Mauve View

“I moved into a house with a large bay window surrounded by a mauvish-coloured wall. There was something pleasant about this overpowering colour and we left it unpainted for about a year after moving in. The artwork commemorates the wall, which has now been painted white. It celebrates a new chapter of moving into a place we can call our own.”
