From the artist:
"At first, when making this series, there were six wood panels that I was working on, and I thought they would all work together. While listening to some mixes on my phone, a song by Gladys Knight and the Pips played, and at that moment my head got flushed with thoughts of transition: from working on wood, which has patterns made by nature and which guides my work, I started working on canvases, which do not have any patterns. I had to try to make patterns shaped by my thoughts and everyday experiences. I decided to use the song title as the title for the artworks."
