"This piece brings together layers of thread and found plastic bags. An under-map of stitched lines forms a basic guide, stitching through the layers of plastic draws to the surface thread colours and underlines from beneath. The process is repetitive and rhythmic with (inaudible) sound and vibration embedded into the surface. These materials offer possibilities, encompassing what is both long-lasting and ephemeral." - Amy
