"The Lyrical Abstraction series is inspired by the influence and transportive nature of music and the ability it possesses to amplify emotions and feelings, especially the way composers arrange notes (shapes) in music without words.
Another translation of the series is that it’s an ordering of physical parts (paint and paper) that relies on the auditory sense to compose a physical manifestation of a symphony.
Similar to a postcard, the Abstractions allow us to travel to a feeling or experience."
