Sunbel

"In this image I was drawn to universality of the visual language of the Sunbel building. The crop does not fully disclose the location and as a result I have had numerous viewers of this work stating that the space depicted feels deeply familiar. I find the universality and hence homogeny of many Modernist schemes intriguing and hence how many of these spaces (particularly governmental spaces) are a universal part of South African experience."
