"When going though the book “Neue Schweizer Chalets” from the 1960's, I became inspired by the architectural plans and styles of Swiss chalets. The overlap of these simple, linear drawings was the starting point for paintings from this body of work. 'Crans-sur- Sierre, Pinocchio' is inspired by a chalet called Pinocchio in Crans-sur-Sierre. "
