"When going though a book from the 60s., “Neue Schweizer Chalets”, about Swiss chalet design, I became inspired by architectural plans and sections. The overlap of these simple, linear drawings was the starting point for paintings from this body of work. Le Ziutre is inspired by a chalet called Le Ziutre in Crans-sur-Sierre."
